Kathryn Morrison

Kathryn Morrison understands that family law matters are rarely just legal—they’re deeply personal. She represents individuals and families through divorce and other family law issues with a steady, compassionate approach and a clear focus on helping clients move forward with confidence.

With more than a decade of experience, Kathryn has handled a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, and adoption. She brings significant courtroom experience to her practice and has appeared before the South Dakota Supreme Court. While she is a strong advocate in litigation, Kathryn is equally focused on practical solutions that align with her clients’ goals and priorities.

Kathryn believes honest, proactive guidance is essential during difficult transitions. She takes the time to explain the process, set realistic expectations, and ensure her clients are fully informed before making major decisions. Her clients value her straightforward communication and her commitment to being present and accessible throughout their case.

Kathryn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Augustana College in 2008 and earned her law degree with honors from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2011. She is licensed to practice in South Dakota.

Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Nebraska Huskers.

Megan Busch

Megan Busch approaches family law with empathy, dedication, and a genuine desire to help clients feel supported during challenging times. She understands that when families come to her for help, they are often facing uncertainty—and she works hard to provide clarity, reassurance, and thoughtful legal guidance.

Megan is licensed to practice in South Dakota and focuses her practice on family law matters. She earned her undergraduate degree from Midland University, graduating in just three years as a double-major student-athlete. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, graduating with the Class of 2016.

Before entering private practice, Megan served as a Law Clerk for the Third Judicial District in the State of Iowa, where she gained valuable insight into the judicial process and the importance of careful preparation. She brings that attention to detail and behind-the-scenes understanding to every case she handles.

Megan values open communication and believes clients deserve honest answers and a clear understanding of their options. She works closely with each client to ensure they feel heard, prepared, and confident throughout the legal process.

Outside the office, Megan enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, Troy, and family.
